Hyderabad: In order to avoid rains during the rainy season for Taraweeh, tin sheds have been erected in Makkah Masjid. Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS, Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare took special interest.
It may be noted that two days back, women faced a lot of difficulties due to rainfall as there was no arrangement for the tent in the ladies section. The attention of the Secretary was invited. He immediately took action and instructed to install tents but due to heavy rains day before yesterday tents were dislodged. It was therefore decided to erect tin sheds. The work was completed within a day.
