Tina Dabi slams saffronists for love jihad diktat

NEW DELHI: UPSC topper Tina Dabi has given a befitting reply to those who criticises her decision to marry the second topper Athar Aamir-ul Shafi Khan.

The Delhi girl recently announced her relationship with Athar Aamir of Jammu and Kashmir via social media.

On Tuesday, twenty-year-old Tina without naming anyone, shared a message on her Facebook page with hashtag `Free Love`.

Tina never shied away about her relationship posted a picture of hers with Athar and wrote a post: “Humanity is the biggest religion we should follow…”

 

The Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha members have written a letter the IAS officer’s parents saying that they were very happy after Tina topped the UPSC 2015 exam but her decision to marry Khan is ‘painful.’

Munna Kumar Sharma, the outfit’s national General Secretary described Tina’s relationship with Athar as ‘love jihad’and advice to cancel the wedding or convince Khan for Ghar Wapsi, The Times of India reported.

“This decision of your family will promote love jihad and thus the wedding should not take place at any cost. If the couple is still willing to tie the knot, then ghar-wapsi of Khan should be done and a wedding should take place only after he agrees to get converted. Our members will help you in his re-conversion or ghar wapsi,” reads the letter.
