Tahreek Muslim Shabban president Mohd Mushtaq Mallik today appealed to all Muslim brethren to avoid usage of Patanjali products.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Mohd Mushtaq Mallik said the Patanjali company declared that they use cow urine in their products to cure many diseases and this was an incorrect way to treat any disease according to the Islam. He reminded that Yoga guru Baba Ramdev had said many a time in his meetings, interviews about the use of cow urine in a few of Patajali products for the purpose of a healthy life. Ramdev Baba had also said, “Drink cow urine and save youself from diabetes, blood pressure, cancer and all types of heart diseases”, he added.
Mohd Mushtaq Mallik said Islam doesn’t believe in cure for any ailment from cow urine. According to Islam, consuming cow urine would lead to non- fulfillment of prayers leading to incomplete faith.
