TPCC asks KCR to quit on HC verdict quashing GO 123

Demanding that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao tender his resignation by owning moral responsibility on dismissal of G.O.No.123 by the High Court, TPCC said the dismissal of G.O.No.123 by the High Court was the best example that KCR has no understanding on how to rule the State.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Thursday, TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka demanded that the State government give back the lands acquired under G.O.No.123 from the farmers. “It is atrocious on the part of the Chief Minister that he didn’t respond on the dismissal of G.O.No.123 by the High Court”, he stated. Reminding that the farmers celebrated the High Court verdict, he said the government never lent its ear on the Congress party version on Mallannasagar. He said that the High Court slapped the TRS government 16 times but there was no respect on the courts.

Making it clear that the Congress party will continue people’s war on the Land Acquisition Act-2013, he said that the Chief Minister failed to respond on the agitation going on in his own constituency. He said it was not correct on the part of the government to say that it will approach upper court on the issue and asked the government to release white paper on acquiring 8 lakh acres.

Demanding that the Chief Minister own the responsibility on the anti-Constitution decisions, he asked the Chief Minister to tell as to why he failed to initiate action against the two Ministers making them responsible for the leakage of EAMCET-II paper. He criticised the Chief Minister stating that the latter confined to farm house by forgetting his job and became an ’Absentee Chief Minister”. He congratulated the Medak district Congress leaders for waging fight against the G.O.No.123 successfully. (NSS)
