New Delhi: Traffic movement was affected on many stretches in Lutyens’ Delhi owing to the Parliament session and protests in the area.
According to the Delhi Traffic Police, additional personnel have been deployed in the area so that commuters are not hassled.
“We have additional deployment every time Parliament is in session. This time also, the deployment is there,” said a senior officer.
He said that there were protesters at Jantar Mantar and the traffic situation was under control.
The police closed down Sansad Marg for traffic movement while diversions were put in place on other routes.
