UP transfers 30 IAS officers

Lucknow: In a major administrative reshuffle, Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 30 IAS officers.

Secretary, Medical, Health and Family Welfare department will now be Commissioner, Devipatan division, an official release issued here said.

Secretary, Basic Education department, Ashish Kumar Goyal has been made Commissioner, Food security, and his post will be taken over by Secretary, Rural Engineering and PWD, Ajay Kumar Singh, the release said.

Other prominent officials among those transferred were Special Secretary Finance, Sudesh Kumar Ojha, who will now be Director Information and Special Secretary, MSME Arvind Kumar Singh who will take over as the new Director (administration) Medical and Health services.

Besides these officers, the government has also transferred 50 Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officer.
