Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav today said that a trial run to distribute drinking waters everyday will begin on Feb 1 at Begumpet division in his Sanathanagar constituency.
At a review meeting with water works officials at Secretariat here he said that the government is keen to offer drinking waters on daily basis instead of alternate days. Trial run of releasing drinking waters will be taken up at Begumpet division including Patigadda area, Banda Maisamma area in Banshilalpet division he said. The minister said that of 20000 tap connections in Boiguda, Hussain Sagar pump house, Nallagutta, Prakashnagar sections the trial run will be conducted for about 1650 households with tap connections. Every day waters will be given to the people later on he said adding that about 1500 households in Bansilalpet division will get as part of the trial run now.
Minister also said that trial run will be conducted for seven days at NBT Nagar and Bandamaisamma areas and then expand the same to other localities. He asked the officials to prepare plans to release drinking waters on daily basis. (NSS)
