Hyderabad: An awareness meeting was organized by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee’s Minorities Cell, yesterday at Press Club, Basheer Bagh. Siasat’s campaign for 12% reservation for Muslims was highlighted in the meeting. Mr. Mohammed Ismail-ur-Rab Ansari presided over the meeting. He said that KCR did not fulfill his election promise for providing 12% reservation to Muslims. He stressed the Govt. to form BCs Commission to get its recommendation on 12% reservation. He pointed out that if Muslims do not get jobs now, there won’t be any opportunity for the next 40 years for jobs.

Mr. Ahmed Siddiqui Mukesh pointed out that the campaign started by Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily is laudable. It is our duty to associate ourselves with this movement. Mr. Haneef Ali (Mahboob Nagar) told that if reservations are provided to the Muslims, it would benefit them. He further told that the Muslims are the natives of this country and it is their right which should be given. Mr. Masood Ali proposed vote of thanks.
