TRS flag to flutter atop Warangal civic body: Srihari

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today exuded confidence that TRS will hoist its pink flag on the civic body as the people are giving them tremendous support in the coming elections.
Addressing a media conference here today, Srihari said the ruling party would capture all the 58 wards in the civic body polls. “Warangal people are well aware that the ruling party was giving top priority to welfare and spending huge money for development works in the district. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao wants to make Warangal a slum-free city besides transforming it into an educational hub.
The Deputy Chief Minister reiterated that the TRS government was committed to allotting noted IT companies to open their business in the Warangal city. The TRS Government is all set to provide two bedroom houses to the slum-dwellers and deserving poor and has been spending huge funds for infrastructure and facilities, Srihari remarked. He also said the ruling party announced Rs 300 crore for developing the city for addressing grievances.
The Deputy Chief Minister said the city will adorn with more IT companies. He asserted that the Chief Minister toured the city for three days and found the issues to be addressed in a phased manner. He called upon the people to compare what the ruling party was doing now as against the previous governments. On being voted to power the TRS leaders from civic body will witness speedy growth in the city, he said.
