TRS Govt can’t ignore suicides: YSRCP

YSRCP MP P Srinivas Reddy criticized that TRS Government failed to achieve anything during its 16 months rule.

Talking to reporters after winding up Odarpu Yatra at Karimnagar he accused the state government of trying to escape from its responsibility of containing suicides. Though about 1400 farmers committed suicides and six persons lost their lives by consuming illicit toddy the government is blaimng the previous governments on suicides he charged. Karimnagar alone witnessed 162 suicides by farmers, 55 by weavers he lamented. The YSRCP leader demanded complete crop loan waiver by Nov, offer fresh loans and declare drought hit mandals and call an all party meeting for succor. Opposition parties will help the government if it extends help to prevent suicides.

He also flayed the government is buying time in the name of design change for Thotapalli, Ellampally and Pranahitha and Chevella projects began much before by then Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
