TRS govt. fails to stop MIM rowdyism

An all party meeting was conducted in which it was alleged that TRS government failed to stop rowdyism of MIM and to maintain law and order in the city. It was demanded to invoke Section 8 of the AP Reorganisation Act granting special powers to Governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on administration of law and order in Hyderabad.

Leader of opposition in assembly K Jana Reddy convened an all party meeting at CLP office assembly which was attended by Congress leaders v Hanumanth Rao, Mohammed Ali Shabbir, P Sudhakar Reddy, Farooq Husain, TDP leaders Dayakar Rao, L Ramna, Revanth Reddy, YSR Congress MLA Shiv Kumar and others.

The meeting discussed MIM rowdyism in old city on the occasion of GHMC elections. The leaders met Governor and raised the issue of section 8 and decided to meet prime minister if the need arises. Later speaking at a press conference Jana Reddy said that the government and Election Commission failed to conduct free and fair elections. Police, officials of election commission and government missionary worked as agents of TRS and MIM, he claimed.
