TRS govt lost 20 cases in courts due to inefficiency: Gandra

Former Chief Whip Gandra Venktramana Reddy has alleged that Singareni dependent jobs case was defeated in the Court with the inefficient arguments of TRS government’s counsel.

Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday, Gandra said that the government lost 20 cases in Courts with the inefficient counsels appointed by the State government. He said that the government assured Singareni dependent jobs issue but the same government made Jagruthi activists to file a case in the Court against G.O. issued by the state government. Reminding that one Counsel Janardhan Reddy tendered his resignation for a verdict against the state government, there was no such sincerity these days, he said.

Demanding the state government to tell as to how it will fulfill the assurance of Singareni dependent jobs issue, Gandra alleged that the Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao were busy with plenary arrangements whereas the farmers were facing severe troubles in the state. He asked the state government to make the businessmen to purchase red chilli for Rs.12,000 per quintal. Alleging that there was an internal war between the brother-in-laws IT Minister KT Ramarao and T Harish Rao in TRS party, Gandra said that the Congress has the efficient leadership and there was no need of Harish Rao for the Congress party.
