TRS Govt neglected Telangana activists: Kodandaram

Hyderabad: Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (TPJAC) chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram has accused the TRS Government of neglecting those who actively participated in the movement for separate Telangana.

Speaking to media persons after visiting the family of Telangana activist Mahender, who was killed in a road accident, in Viqarabad on Wednesday, Kodandaram said that State Government was not encouraging those who struggled for Telangana. Instead, those who opposed statehood and tried to suppress the movement were being given huge importance.

Kodandaram demanded that the State Government recognise the role played by activists in achieving statehood for Telangana. (INN)
