Hyderabad: Muslims of Telangana State were disappointed when despite addressing twice, Mr. KCR did not give any assurance for providing 12% reservation for Muslims. Although, 16 resolutions were passed in the meeting but no mention has been made about 12% reservations for Muslims.
It may be noted that Mr. KCR had made a promise before 2014 elections that in case TRS assumes, 12% reservation would be provided to Muslims within four months. TRS is completing two years of its rule in the State but it did not fulfill its election promise. The silence of the allied party of TRS is also worrying the Muslims of the State.
