TRS spent Rs 1,000 to woo Oppn leaders: Errabelli

TDP floor leader in Telangana Assembly Errabelli Dayakar Rao today alleged that the ruling TRS party had spent Rs 1,000 crore to lure and buy Opposition leaders during the year.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Errabelli said while over 2,000 distressed farmers committed suicide in the State, the TRS government has shown the figure at 350. The ruling party was trying to fool the people for votes in the GHMC elections by showing samples of double bedroom houses, he said, adding that KCR would forget his recent promise of waiving water bills after the GHMC elections.

Referring to remarks of Director General of Police that crime rate in the State has come down, Errabelli said it was wrong. Alleging that the TRS government has failed on all fronts during the year, Errabelli said in the entire year the government wasted precious time just by redesigning irrigation projects and failed to control prices of essential commodities.
