TRS will rule State for 20 years more: Harish Rao

Hyderabad: TRS will rule the State for another 20 years, according to Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao.
Inaugurating a godown, constructed at a cost of Rs 1,80 crore at Nizamabad, the minister said the TRS government was spending Rs 1,024 crore for providing storage facility for agriculture produce in all the districts. “Since the people are solidly behind us through our schemes, we will be in power for 20 years more. The Opposition was coming in the way of the process of development in the State, he alleged.
“Though we are determined to address farmers’ needs, the Opposition was getting jealous of our welfare schemes and projects”. He ridiculed the Congress for making a hue and cry for political mileage. Harish also said nomination posts will be filled before April 27. The flagship programs of Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya are getting accolades and several other States are planning to replicate our programs, he claimed. The party was giving Rs 2 lakh compensation to the deceased TRS members, he added. (NSS)
