TS, AP CMs are serious in resolving water dispute: Bajaj Panel

Chief Ministers of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, K. Chandrashekar Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu, are serious on finding an amicable solution to the dispute over sharing of Krishna River water, said former chairman of the Central Water Commission (CWC) A.K. Bajaj, who is heading the Committee constituted set up by the Union Water Resources Ministry to help the Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) in preparing a working manual along with an operational protocol for sharing Krishna river water between the two States.

Speaking to media persons after meeting the Telangana Chief Minister at Pragathi Bhavan on Wednesday, Bajaj said that the differences between the two States were minor and they would be resolved soon. He said that the Committee would visit the irrigation projects within a month to review the distribution of water among States. (INN)
