The Bharatiya Janata Party has described the Telangana’s budget for 2017-18 as highly disappointing.
Speaking to media persons on Monday, BJP MLC N. Ramchander Rao said that the budget would push the people into a huge debt trap. He said that the TRS Government has turned Telangana from a revenue surplus to a debt-ridden State. He said expect for allocation of Rs. 4,000 Crore towards crop loan waiver, there were no substantial allocations for the agriculture sector.
The BJP leader said that Finance Minister Eatala Rajender has used big figures to cover up State Government’s failures. He said there was nothing new in the budget. (INN)
