In a major development to recover unused lands meant for industries or companies Telangana Government today cancelled 4999.14 acres of land allotted to Deccan Infrastructure Land Holdings (DIL) in four districts for alleged irregularities. The government here on Saturday issued an order cancelling the massive land of about 5000 acres allotted by previous government in four districts of Nalgonda, Medak, Ranga Reddy and Mahabubnagar. The government stated that it has taken a decision to recover the land for lying unused and the purpose is not being served for years.
It may be said that the DIL land allocation mired in a controversy for involving alleged irregularities. (NSS)
