TS Govt. continues to lure people despite severe financial crisis

Hyderabad: After demonetization, Govt. of Telangana is facing severe financial crisis. In some departments, employees are not getting salaries but the leaders are making lofty claims to develop the State.

A few days back, IT Minister, Mr. KTR presented a development plan to spend Rs. 26 thousand crore for the development of Hyderabad to place it on par with Istanbul of Turkey. There are plans to develop satellite towns around Hyderabad which includes the development of Ghatkesar area for IT and Medical Park; Pedda Amberpet for Vegetable Hub; Shameerpet for regional recreation center; Keesara for knowledge hub; Gundlapuchampally for biotech pharma; Patancheruvu for innovation and wholesale market; Kukapet for financial district; Timmapur for Pharma hub and innovation center. Govt. identified four thousand acres of land for the completion of these projects.

Govt. has also decided to develop satellite towns in Patancheruvu, Shameerpet, Medchal, Keesara, Ghatkesar, Pedda Amberpet, Kukapet, Puchampalli, Tukkuguda, Timmapur and Shamsabad.

Officials of the Dept. of Industry and HMDA are engaged in finalizing these plans. The satellite towns are being developed to minimize traffic burden on Hyderabad. It is proposed to get grants from Central Govt. in order to elevate the status of Hyderabad City on an international level.
