After approving the famous Constitutional Amendment Bill for GST, the Telangana Legislative Assembly which met here on Tuesday, decided in the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting, to conduct the Monsoon session from September 20, for about 10 days.
The BAC meeting chaired by Speaker, S Madhusudhan Chary in his chambers, discussed on the next session in the presence of Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, deputy chief minister Kadiam Srihari, Assembly Affairs Minister T Harish Rao, Finance Minister E Rajender, Chief Whip K Eshwar. Members who attended the BAC meeting from other parties are Congress leaders Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Chinna Reddy, BJPLP leader G Kishan Reddy, Telugu Desam leader S Venkata Veeraiah, CPM’s S Veeraiah and MIM’s Mojam Khan.
The BAC took the decision to hold the regular session from September 20 in view of the Ganesh Utsav starting from September 5 and ending on September 15, with Nimmakan. (NSS).
