Tummala win forgone conclusion: Jagadish

Hyderabad: Minister for Power G Jagadish Reddy today asserted that the TRS will win the Palair bye-poll slated to be held on May16. It is clear that the ruling party has won the hearts of the people and has already bagged the bypoll victory, he said.

Speaking at Palair TRS activists general body meeting attended by Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, MP Bura Narsaiah Goud and others, the minister asked the people to vote for welfare and development of the State. Since the Congress was playing sympathy card against poll traditions, the people should vote for TRS candidate Tummala Nageshwar Rao, he appealed.

Jagadish Reddy likened the Palair bypoll similar to that of KCR, who fought Karimnagar bypoll in 2006. “Gone were the days wherein people used to ask as to who will win the elections and now the TRS is winning every election”, he said. Leaders of the Opposition parties can’t dare to ask as who is going to win the poll.  Palair segment will be won by the ruling party as the people are in support of Nageshwar Rao, who is shouldering the responsibility of Khammam district.
