A 75-year-old man was killed after he was knocked down by a RTC bus in Bahadurpura police limits.
The victim, Mohammed Yousuf Ali, of Chandulal Baradari, was hit by a RTC bus while he was crossing the road near Zoo Park on Tuesday. He sustained grievous injuries and was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where he died a few hours after admission.
In another case, B. Rammohan, of Ramannapet in Nalgonda, died on the spot when the ambulance he was travelling in lost control and turned turtle after hitting a road divider. The accident occurred on Wednesday near Kothaguda in Hayathnagar police limits. Ambulance driver also sustained injuries in the accident.
According to police, Rammohan’s wife was admitted in a hospital in the city. He hired an ambulance in Nalgonda to take his wife back to a Nalgonda hospital. However, he met with the accident while proceeding towards Hyderabad. (INN)
