Two labourers, who were injured in a wall collapse incident in Raidurgam area on Monday evening, succumbed at a private hospital on Tuesday morning.
According to Raidurgam police, the victims, Zia-ul-Ansari (22) and Dilip Kumar Yadav (40), were injured when a portion of a wall fell on them at a construction site of KPC Projects near T-Hub in Raidurgam at around 7.30 PM on Monday. Nearly 15 labourers were doing binding works in basement area on the site at the time of incident. Both were rushed to a private hospital where they died of injuries on Tuesday.
While Dilip was a resident of Serilingampally, Zia-ul-Ansari hailed from Bihar.
Police have registered a case of negligence under Sections 304A and 337 IPC and began investigation, according to Sub-Inspector A. Muralidhar. (INN)
