Hyderabad: Two special task force teams have been set up for removal of encroachments on Waqf properties and collection of rents of the Waqf properties. The teams have been provided new vehicles.
Chairman Telangana Waqf Board Mohammed Saleem flagged off both the vehicles on Tuesday. These task force teams will not only protect Waqf properties in Hyderabad but will also visit districts. The team comprises of 5 officials including surveyor and Waqf inspector. The task force team will rush to the spot whenever complaint will be received regarding the encroachment on Waqf property in any area.
Speaking to the media persons, Chairman Waqf Board Mohammed Saleem said these unique teams have been set up to stop destruction of Waqf properties. These teams will be ever ready to provide their services.
