A 24-year-old woman committed suicide in the house of her office colleague in Jubilee Hills police limits.
The deceased, D. Lakshmi Priya, of Kavadiguda, was a Data Entry operator in a private firm. On Monday evening, she went to the residence of her office colleague Venkateshwarulu in Jubilee Hills area and committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling. She was reportedly in depression for the last few days. Jubilee Hills police have registered a case and began investigations to ascertain the factors that drove her to the extreme step.
In another case, Ch. Sushmita, a B. Tech 3rd year student, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in NGOs Colony on Monday night. According to Vanasthalipuram police, Sushmita was rebuked by her father Venkateshwarlu after he got a complaint from her ex-classmate Aadarsh stating that she was sending him messages on phone. (INN)
