Johannesburg, Sept.19: A UK Athletics review on doping claims against Mo Farah’s coach Alberto Salazar has found ‘no evidence of impropriety’ by him and his training programme at the Oregon Project.
Earlier, a statement released by UK Athletics had said that none of the ‘extensive information’ supplied to the review panel contained ‘any evidence of impropriety’ by Farah or gave them reason to ‘question the appropriateness of the input’ into his preparation given by Salazar’s team.
The review was again carried out by the Performance Oversight Group (POG), which also found that there is no reason to be concerned about Mo Farah or any other athlete involved with the Oregon Project, Sport24 reported.
The Briton had come under heavy scrutiny after an investigation alleged that Salazar, who was hired as Farah’s coach in 2011, doped United States 10,000 meter record holder Galen Rupp in 2002, when the athlete was 16-years-old.
