Tenali: Moghal Khaja Baig (35) set himself ablaze at the Three Town police station, Tenali late on Saturday night.
According to the reports, he had a bottle of petrol and a match box with which he set himself ablaze. Within no time, a large number of persons assembled in front of the police station.
Police forces were deployed in the town. The man was rushed to hospital in Guntur where his condition is reported to be very critical.
It is reported that the man had setup a small shop on the road leading to railway station. Policemen and municipal staff asked him to remove the shop since it was a hurdle in the traffic, but when he refused, he was called to police station. He could not bear humiliation by the police and decided to kill himself.
