Urdu medium school timings changed during Ramazan: Dy. CM’s instructions

Hyderabad: Some narrow minded officials of school education were avoiding changing the Urdu school timings during Ramazan. Telangana Urdu Teachers’ Association made a representation to Dy. CM, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali. He immediately contacted Director of School Education Mr. G. Kishan Rao and instructed him to issue the orders changing the timings of Urdu medium schools.

 

On receiving instructions from Dy. CM, the Director of School Education issued proceedings yesterday scheduling the timings of Urdu medium school in the State from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from 13th June to 6th July.

 

Mr. Mohammed Masooduddin Ahmed, General Secretary of Telangana Urdu Teachers’ Association had made a representation to Mr. Mahmood Ali in which he had told him that if the timings of Urdu medium schools are not changed, it will have negative impact on the TRS Govt. He had also mentioned that it is an old tradition to change the timings of Urdu medium schools during Ramazan which is now being deviated. He had requested the Dy. CM to take immediate action.
