Uttar Pradesh government’s efforts increased tourism potential: Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today claimed that tourism potential in the state has “increased” due to the efforts being made by his government.

“It is because of the concerted efforts of the Samajwadi Party government that tourism potential and activities in this sector have increased.

It is the responsibility of the state government that more and more facilities are extended to those coming here,” Yadav said after inaugurating a tourism complex at his native Saifai village in Etawah.

The new tourism policy has been brought under which basic facilities at such centres will be upgraded, the Chief Minister said, adding that increase in the number of tourists will lead to financial progress.
