New Delhi [India]: Actress Vaani Kapoor recently launched Label Ritu Kumar’s Autumn/ Winter 2017 collection, titled Maharaja Pop.
The collection, inspired by a merger of rich fabrics and ornamentation of erstwhile royalty, with quirky colour accents and bold, military inspired prints, includes printed jackets, signature shirt dresses and short skirts made from lavish fabrics like velvet, foil printed jerseys and heavy and vintage crepe.
The young actress looks spunky in the campaign featuring videos and stills, shot by photographer Bikramjit Bose and videographer Christina MacGillivray. She can also be seen dancing cheerfully to peppy music in two videos for the brand’s Basics collection, which features the brand’s lounge-wear.
Speaking about the association, Amrish Kumar, CEO, Ritu Kumar said, “We spend a lot of time thinking through and connecting with people who we belie ve portray the mood and personality of the brand. This year we were talking about the vivacious and bold approach the brand has taken and starting meeting with people who portray this feeling.
