Vaccination for Haj pilgrims from Tuesday

Telangana State Haj Committee (TSHC) Special Officer announced that the vaccination for the Haj pilgrims would commence from 9th August (Tuesday) at 11:00 AM at Haj House, Nampally, Hyderabad.

Arrangements were also being made for vaccination in all the districts of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States. Addressing a largely attended Haj Training Camp at Masjid Baghdadi Tek in Nampally, he asked the pilgrims to bring the copy of the Haj Guide, as it contains the medical history of the pilgrims. He said that from this year the pilgrims would be allowed to carry Rs. 25,000 in Indian currency and an amount equivalent to US$ 5,000 along with them, while the Haj Committee would provide SR 2100 at the time of departure. He instructed the pilgrims not to bring gold in the return journey, as it would land them in trouble. He said that due to security reasons the phone SIM cards would be issued in Saudi Arabia itself. He advised them not to indulge in unnecessary phone calls, selfies and WhatsApp etc., during Haj.

Eminent Islamic scholars Moulana Syed Qubool Pasha Suttari, Moulana Khaja Shareef,  Moulana Mohammed Hussamudin Saani Jaffer Pasha, Moulana Ahsan –al-Humoomi, Moulana Abdul Wahed and Muneeruddin Mukhtar addressed the gathering and explained about the significance of Haj and its rituals. They also asked the pilgrims to show utmost respect while in Madeenah. (INN)
