Hyderabad: Violation of rules and misuse of power are becoming rampant by the peoples’ representatives. Two days back, an MLA of MIM abused Municipal Officials who were dismantling illegal constructions at Banjara Hills.
In another incident, police Meer Chowk registered a case of assault against MIM Municipal Corporator of Dabeerpura, Mr. Riyazul Hasan Aafandi alias Goldy.
According to the details, Ms. Syeda Tahira Husaini (37) resident of Kotla Alija registered a compliant in the police that she is the resident of the second floor of an apartment in which her relative, Syed Shabir Husain also resides.
Yesterday, somebody threw garbage in front of her flat. She informed her son, Syed Muzammil and sent her to her mother-in-law to apprise her of the fact. Meanwhile, Salwa Afandi attacked her son with a sandle. Another relative of Salwa Afandi, Syed Shabir Husain Rizvi, his son, Mubashir Rizvi and daughter Hajira also assaulted Tahira’s son.
Ms. Tahira Husain in her complaint mentioned that on hearing the cries of her son, she informed her husband, Syed Safdar Husain Rizvi but he could not come since he was at Pedda Amberpet. She sought help from her two brothers, Syed Husain and Syed Mohsin. Within few minutes, MIM Corporator, Riyazul Hasan Afandi and his two brothers, Zakiul Hasan Afandi and Shabihul Hasan Afandi also reached there and assaulted her brother and son. Her son got injuries on his eyes. In the complaint, she also mentioned that Shabihul Hasan barged into the flat and took away her golden ring and money.
Police Meer Chowk registered a case under section 324, 448, 379 and 506 of IPC. The police informed that after receiving medical report, further investigation will be made. Another case has been registered against Ms. Tahira Husaini and her relatives.
