Hyderabad: Appreciating the stand taken by Prof. K. Kodandaram, Chairman, Telangana Political Joint Action Committee, various trade union leaders of the city extended their support to him. They include, Mr. Mohammed Muqtar Ahmed, Chairman, Auto Rickshaw Owners and Drivers Welfare Associations. Mr. A. Ganapath Rao, General Secretary and Convener of JAC, Mr. Nawaz Ghalib, General Secretary, Telangana Aam Aadmi Auto Union, Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Ahmed, Chairman, Poor Auto Drivers’ Sangharsh Samiti in a joint press statement released yesterday told that the demands presented by Prof. Kodandaram are genuine. They further alleged that even after the lapse of two years, govt. of Telangana did not take any action for fulfilling its election promises.
