As a large number of dignitaries will attend a program at Raj Bhavan in connection with Republic Day celebrations on Thursday evening and a large number of vehicles will be parked near the Raj Bhavan, following parking arrangements have been made.
The city Traffic police advised the general public/vehicle users to take alternative routes from the Monappa Island to V.V. statue junction (Khairtabad) on either side of Raj Bhavan road in order to avoid inconvenience from 1530 hours to 1930 hours on Republic Day. Pink color car pass holders will be allowed through Gate No.1 and their vehicles will be allowed to park inside parking lots at Raj Bhavan. White color car pass holders will be allowed to park vehicles at parking lots at Raj Bhavan and in the following parking places after allowing them through Gate No. III. Parking at MMTS Parking lot, Park Hotel near MMTS, Katriya lane, inside Jaya Garden function hall, single lane parking from Metro Residency to NASR School, single lane parking from Lake View guest house to V.V statue junction.
