Venkaiah to inaugurate orientation program for Urdu Journalists

The Telangana Union of Working Journalists, in association with TelanganaState Urdu Academy and Moulana Azad National Urdu University, is conducting a day-long Orientation Programme for Urdu journalists on Sunday.

           

Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting M. Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate the program at Salar Jung Museum Auditorium at 10.30 am on Sunday. Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Leader of Opposition in Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir, State Minorities Commission Chairman Abid Rasool Khan, TRS MP K. Kavita, BJP floor leader in Assembly G. Kishan Reddy, MIM MLC Syed Amin-ul-Hasan Jafferi, I&PR Commissioner Navin Mittal, MANUU Vice-Chancelor Prof. Aslam Parvaiz and Urdu Academy Director Prof. S.A. Shukoor will also attend the inaugural and valedictory sessions.

           

Senior journalists K. Sreenivas Reddy and M.A. Majid, Press Council of India member K. Amarnath, TSUWJ President N. Shekhar and General Secretary K. Virahath Ali will also address the function.

            The day-long orientation programme will also have four technical sessions for Urdu journalists. These sessions will be addressed by experts and senior journalist. More than 300 journalists from across Telangana State will be participating in the programme. (NSS)
