VH asks MIM to make its Stand Clear on Presidential Election

Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has demanded the MIM (Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen)  to make the party’s stand on supporting the Presidential candidate   Ramnath Kovind.

Speaking to the media here today, VHR questioned why the Owaisi brothers are keeping mum on the issue.   He said that it was shocking to note that efforts are on to defeat  Meira Kumar, the  opposition candidate, in the election, even though  she had played a key role in creation of Telangana State. He found fault with the Union Home Minister not giving an appointment to the Congress leaders from the State.

He condemned the social boycott of dalits in Garugaparru village of Andhra Pradesh. (NSS)
