VH Demands KCR to make BC Population in State Public

Demanding Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to make the BC population public, Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has alleged that the TRS government was trying to suppress the BCs.

Speaking to the media at Assembly media point here on Friday, VH alleged that the Chief Minister was not allocating budget for the BCs besides keeping unspent Rs 4,800 crore as his own. Alleging that the Chief Minister made four members from his community as Cabinet Ministers, he wondered why KCR was taking 54 percent BCs lightly.

HV alleged that the Chief Minister was creating new districts without taking public opinion into consideration. Asking the Chief Minister to tell whether there were no BCs in 27 districts, VH questioned KCR as to why the latter was not revealing the BC population number. He said a day will come when the BCs will revolt against the government.

Hanumanth Rao said he has addressed a letter to the Chief Minister to give priority to sports in the new districts. He said the State government has to acquire adequate land to school for games. (NSS)
