VH flays KCR for ignoring OU students

Congress senior leader V Hanumanth Rao has alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who used Osmania University students to wrest power in State was criminally neglecting them now.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Monday, VH said KCR has issued a G.O. prohibiting meetings at the OU campus as he doesn’t need their services now. Pointing out that the officials were getting threatening calls from land mafia, he asked the Chief Minister as to why he was not ordering a CBI inquiry. He alleged that the Chief Minister was not taking action against the corrupt people in the State.

VH faulted Governor ESL Narasimhan for not taking action against the police for handcuffing protesting farmers. He also alleged that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chowhan enacted hunger strike drama and said Vyapam was a multi-crore worth scam. He wondered whether any chief minister goes on hunger strike. (NSS)
