VH urges PM to provide reservations in pvt sector

Congress senior leader V Hanumatha Rao today urged the Centre to provide reservations in private sector to help people get employment and enjoy equal opportunities of life. “Only reservations will help develop all sections in the society for which he will take up a persistent struggle in two Telugu States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh after August 15”, he said.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday, Hanumanth Rao accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of deceiving backward class people in the country. “Besides claiming to be a BC leader, Narendra Modi is failing to do justice to his own community. If Modi has any sympathy and affection, he should take initiative for providing reservations in the private sector,” Hanmatha Rao said.

Retiring in June after being a member of Rajya Sabha for three consecutive terms, Hanumanth Rao thanked party supremo Sonia Gandhi and party vice-president Rahul Gandhi for offering post in Rajya Sabha for three times. VH was fortunate that he rose to become an MP without any godfather in the Congress which has history of 150 years in India.  (NSS)
