Expressing serious objection at the Centre appointing Akhil Bharathiya Vidhyarthi Parishat (ABVP) former leader O Srinivas Reddy as a member of Hyderabad Central University (HCU) Board, Rajya Sabha member and Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao alleged that domination of ABVP was increasing in HCU.
Speaking at Assembly media point here on Wednesday, VHR warned the Centre saying that struggles will be started in the University if it failed to take back its decision. It may be recalled that the Central Government has appointed O Srinivas Reddy as a member of HCU Board two days ago. Srinvias Reddy was a former ABVP leader and presently he was chairman of the Jagruthi Educational Institutions, Hyderabad. (NSS)
