Vice-President Ansari’s 2-day visit to city on Mar 5, 6

Hyderabad: Vice President, Hamid Ansari will be on a two-day itinerary to Telangana Capital on March 5 and 6. Addressing a coordination meeting of officials of various departments, General Administration Department Principal Secretary Adhar Sinha directed the former make necessary arrangements for the vice president’s visit in Hyderabad.
Ansari will inaugurate the 29th national congress of Ryothu Sangham on the theme of “Public Investment and Subsidies on agricultural input and upliftment of Agrarian Economy” at RTC hall on March 5. The Vice President will also inspect the restoration works of the historic Qutubshahi Tombs by Aga khan Foundation in the city and will go back to national capital on March 6.
Adhar Sinha directed the officials to provide uninterrupted power supply, drinking water and upkeep of the twin cities and adequate security measures. He also asked them to take steps for traffic regulation, sanitation on the occasion, besides taking swift measures for upkeep of the twin cities. The principal secretary also asked the officials of electricity, water works, health, fire, horticulture, information department, BSNL, Telangana State Technological services and others to provide their services in a planned manner. After receiving a cordial welcome at Begumpet Airport on March 5 at 3.50 pm, the Vice President will drive straight to the RTC hall for national seminar, he stated. Hamid Ansari will make a visit to the Qutub Shahi Tombs and look into the restoration works. After that the vice president will take a return flight at Begupmet for Delhi.(NSS)
