Video: Angry with UP debacle, AIMIM workers allegedly vandalise Mumbai office

Mumbai: A video of AIMIM workers allegedly ransacking its own office in Mumbai going viral.

The 1 minute 35-seconds video shows people gathered at a Party office, raising slogans against AIMIM for dividing votes in UP.

Earlier, a group of AIMIM workers allegedly resign from the party.

The party is accused of playing spoilsport by splitting Muslim votes and allegedly helping Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the resounding victory in the electoral battle in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election.

AIMIM had fielded around three dozen candidates for the Uttar Pradesh and drew a blank in all 38 seats.

The saffron party didn’t field a single Muslim candidate, but the AIMIM turn out to be hugely beneficial for BJP for diving the secular votes.
