Lucknow: Mr. Tanzil Ahmed, NIA officer was shot dead in Bijnor in the early hours on Sunday by two assailants who came on a motorcycle.
He was an Assistant Commandant with BSF presently on deputation to NIA. He was returning to Sahaspur after attending the marriage of his niece on Saturday night. Two unidentified persons stopped his car and shot him dead.
His wife also received injuries while his two children sitting on the back seat were driven by the deceased. They are safe.
Police agencies including Delhi Police and NIA are investigating the case.
