She asked Sonu Nigam, “Why didn’t you tweet when innocent Muslims were murdered under the pretext of cow protection?” She also said that Sonu Nigam must have crossed 50 years. Why didn’t he get disturbed earlier and why did he raise this issue now when BJP Govt. assumed power in the Center. She suggested Sonu Nigam to raise his voice to fight for justice and not to please someone.

She further said that Azaan on loudspeaker is not “Gundagardi” but killing innocent persons in the name of protection of cow or gang rape of a woman by 10 to 15 men is “Gundagardi”. Commenting on Akhlaq’s murder, she said killing Akhlaq was “Gundagardi”. She also raised the case of murder of Pehlu Khan and many such issues.

She challenged Sonu Nigam to reply to her questions. If he does not do so, she would go to his house along with the members of her organization to ask these questions.

She further slammed another singer, Abhijeet.

It is to be mentioned that Sonu Nigam earlier tweeted, “God bless everyone. I’m not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India?” This tweet created uproar in the country.
