New Delhi: A 21-year-old woman was mercilessly stabbed over 30 times in Delhi’s Burari area on Tuesday morning.
In the video, the 34-year-old accused is seen pouncing stabbing her mercilessly multiple times. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
According to a Times Of India report, Karuna, a teacher at Novel Reaches School, was being stalked by the accused, Surender Singh.
As per reports, the woman’s family had filed a complaimt five months ago against Surender, but as both the families reached a compromise; police did not take any action.
“The man had been harassing my sister for a long time. He stays in Rohini. We had filed a complaint, after which he had calmed down…, until now,” said Karuna’s brother to NDTV.
CCTV footage reveals that at least a dozen people present in the vicinity did nothing to help Karuna.
