Videsh Bhavan in Hyderabad, under consideration

Hyderabad: At the instance of Govt. of Telangana, MEA, Govt. of India is considering the establishment of Videsh Bhavan in order to coordinate between State Govt. and MEA. It will facilitate people in getting passport and visas. Political clearance will also be ensured and there will be opportunities for getting foreign investments.

It may be mentioned that Mr. KCR had desired to provide accommodation for the establishment of Videsh Bhavan. It was stated by Mr. Dnyaneshwar M. Mulay, Secretary, MEA while talking to newsmen yesterday in Hyderabad. He had called on the CM on Saturday. KCR had also requested MEA to establish Passport Seva Kendra in Warangal.

Mr. Dnyaneshwar M. Mulay told that MEA is taking all steps to issue passport as early as possible. A project has been started in Mysore and Gujarat under the caption “Passport at your doorsteps”. Passport Seva officials will contact the students in colleges and universities to help the students get passport. Passport camps would also be organized. He also mentioned that MEA, issues 1.3 crore passport in a year which includes 60000 passports issued by Hyderabad Passport Office which ranks second after Lucknow in the issue of passports.
