Vijayawada: The Police finally recovered the body of a missing Doctor, who was reported went missing five days ago.
Doctor Surya Kumari went missing five days ago in Vijayawada. Her body was found in a decomposed state in Ryves lake at Gandhi Nagar.
According to the Police, the locals found the doctor’s bike near the lake and alerted the Police.
Doctor Surya was posted in Vissannapeta Public Health Centre at Telladevarapalli village. Her sister Hepsiba Rani is an IAS officer posted in Karnataka.
Following a complaint filed by the deceased parents, Police arrested Vidyasagar son of former TDP MLA Bobbili Jayarajs son Vidyasagar, earlier this week, for kidnapping Doctor Surya as alleged by her parents.
However, Vidyasagar’s wife alleged that the deceased was infatuated towards him and asked Vidyasagar to marry her. Upon refusal to marry, she committed suicide told the wife.
The text message retrieved from Doctor Surya’s cell phone stated, “Bobbie (Vidya Sagar’s nickname) I loved you so much and despite you saying no, I have been forcing you to marry me. My parents are planning to take me away from this place and might come after you. So be careful” said the Police.
