Waqf Board caught in red-tapism, officials spied upon

The performance of Waqf Board has been badly affected due to lack of coordination between officials in the department. Like every review meeting, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has made several announcement regarding minorities in the meeting held on Sunday. He assured protection of Waqf properties and restoration of several valuable Waqf lands but it seems that officials of the department are least interested in implementing Chief Minister’s announcements.

The situation has become so worse that hundreds of files remained pending since long. It seems that high officials of the department are more interested to spy on other officials affairs than implementation of schemes. Various officials are allegedly spied upon. Drivers and attenders have been assigned for this job. People arriving to meet incharges of various institutions are snapped secretly and their conversation is being recorded. It is said that the person involved in such activities is backed by a high official.
