Hyderabad: Waqf Board has suspend Waqf Board inspector auditor Khammam for being neglectful in implementing scheme related to monthly honorarium to Imams and Muezzins.
Waqf Board Chairman directed suspension of district inspector Khammam Fayyaz and Chief Executive Officer Mannan Farooqui issued orders in this connection.
According to sources the scheme related to honourarium to imams and muezzins is being effectively implemented in all districts however the said inspector auditor has not sent a single application from Khammam even though it is Ramadanul Mubarak the holy month of Muslims.
Waqf Board sources told that despite repeated representations the said inspector acted negligently; hence action has been taken against him.
